Yie-Ar Kung Fu nes game download

Yie-Ar Kung Fu

Yie Ar Kung Fu is a classic fighting game that was originally released in arcades by Konami in 1985. The game was later ported to various home consoles, including the Nintendo Entertainment System and the MSX2.

In Yie Ar Kung Fu, the player controls a martial arts master named Oolong as he battles a series of opponents in one-on-one matches. The game features a wide variety of opponents, each with their own unique fighting style and moves. The player must use a combination of punches, kicks, and special moves to defeat their opponents and progress through the game.

One of the unique features of Yie Ar Kung Fu is its use of a "health meter" system, where the player's health decreases as they take damage from their opponent's attacks. If the health meter is fully depleted, the player loses the match. The game also features a "meditation" mode between matches, where the player can practice their moves and increase their fighting skills.

Yie Ar Kung Fu is considered a classic game and has been praised for its challenging gameplay, diverse cast of characters, and innovative fighting mechanics. It has been cited as an influence on many later fighting games, including the popular Street Fighter series.

Super Contra arcade game nintendo

Super Contra is a classic run-and-gun arcade-style video game that was released for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in 1990. It is the sequel to the original Contra game and features similar gameplay mechanics, but with updated graphics and new levels and enemies.

In Super Contra, the player controls one of two commandos, Bill Rizer or Lance Bean, as they battle their way through a series of levels filled with enemy soldiers and machines. The game features a variety of weapons and power-ups that can be collected by the player, including machine guns, flamethrowers, and spread guns.

One of the unique features of Super Contra is its use of multiple perspectives, with some levels featuring a top-down view and others a side-scrolling view. The game also includes a variety of bosses, each with their own unique attack patterns and weaknesses.

Super Contra is known for its challenging gameplay and has been praised for its fast-paced action and memorable soundtrack. It has been ported to many different platforms over the years and remains a popular game among retro gaming enthusiasts.

Super Contra is a Run and Gun-style action game produced by Konami, originally released as a coin-operated arcade game in 1988. It is the sequel to the original Contra and the second game in the Contra series released for the arcades. Like in the original game, the game centers on soldiers Bill Rizer and Lance Bean, who are once again assigned to protect the Earth from an army of alien invaders. The game features standard side-scrolling stages, as well as all new overhead stages in lieu of the original game's '3D' stages.

Super Contra (co-op mode, 1st level)
Super Contra (co-op mode, 1st level)

Like its predecessor, a modified console version was made for the Nintendo Entertainment System, which saw release in North America as Super C and in Europe and Australia as Probotector II: Return of the Evil Forces. Both the arcade game and the NES game, have been re-released in various other platforms since their original releases.
Set a year after the events of the original Contra, Bill and Lance, the heroes from the previous game, are sent on a second mission. This time, the alien forces from the previous game have taken over an allied military base, possessing most of its troops. Bill and Lance must not only fight against their former comrade-in-arms, but also a new mutated form of the same alien creatures they fought during their previous mission.
The arcade version of Super Contra plays essentially the same as its predecessor. The main difference was in its versatility. While the original Contra had two different perspectives (a side view and an over-the-shoulder view), Super Contra replaces the 3D stages with top-view stages similar to other overhead shooters at the time such as Commando and Ikari Warriors. Additionally, the side-view stages of Super Contra featured inclined surfaces, which were not in the original Contra. In the arcade version, the player can now control the height of their jump; by holding the joystick up and pressing the jump button will allow for a higher jump; likewise the player can perform low jumps as well by holding down-right or down-left while pressing the jump button. The arcade version is composed of five stages which spans a military base, a jungle and an alien lair. Stage 1, 3 and 4 are side-view stages, while Stage 2 and 5 are top-view stages.

Golden Axe sega game

Golden Axe 1

Golden Axe is a classic side-scrolling beat 'em up game that was released for the Sega Genesis in 1989. The game was developed by Sega and features three playable characters, each with their own unique abilities and moves.

In Golden Axe, players control one of the three heroes as they battle their way through a variety of levels filled with enemies and bosses. The game features a variety of weapons that can be picked up and used by the player, including swords, magic spells, and powerful "earthquake" attacks.

One of the unique features of Golden Axe is the ability for players to ride on the backs of various fantasy animals, including dragons and giant eagles. These animals can be used to attack enemies and navigate through levels more quickly.

Golden Axe is known for its fast-paced action, detailed graphics, and memorable soundtrack. The game has been ported to many different platforms over the years and has spawned several sequels and spin-off games. It remains a popular game among retro gaming enthusiasts and is considered a classic of the beat 'em up genre.

Golden Axe is a side-scrolling, beat 'em up, hack and slash arcade video game released in 1989 by Sega for the System 16-B arcade hardware. It is the first game in the Golden Axe series. Makoto Uchida was the primary developer of the game and also was responsible for the creation of Altered Beast. The game was ported to the Mega Drive/Genesis and Master System, among others.
The game takes place in the fictional land of Yuria, a Conan the Barbarian-style high fantasy medieval world. An evil entity known as Death Adder has captured the King and his daughter, and holds them captive in their castle. He also finds the Golden Axe, the magical emblem of Yuria, and threatens to destroy both the axe and the royal family unless the people of Yuria accept him as their ruler.

Golden Axe - Sega Master System
Golden Axe - Sega Master System
Three warriors set out on a quest to rescue Yuria and avenge their losses at the hands of Death Adder. The first is a battle axe-wielding dwarf, Gilius Thunderhead, from the mines of Wolud, whose twin brother was killed by the soldiers of Death Adder. Another is a male barbarian, Ax Battler, wielding a two-handed broadsword, looking for revenge for the murder of his mother. The last is a longsword-wielding Tyris Flare, an amazon, whose parents were both killed by Death Adder. The warriors rescue the inhabitants of the ransacked Turtle Village, which turns out to be situated on the shell of a giant turtle. The turtle takes the characters across the sea, and they then fly to the castle itself on the back of a giant eagle. Once at the castle they defeat Death Adder, who is wielding the Golden Axe, and save the land. In the Mega Drive and PC versions, and also in other ports, the characters also battle Death Adder's mentor, Death Bringer, as the true final boss. After the final battle, the warriors receive a magical golden axe that imbues the player with immortality.
The characters from the original Golden Axe have made cameo appearances in other Sega games. Ax Battler, Gilius Thunderhead and Tyris Flare all make a cameo appearance in the arcade version of Alien Storm. They can be found on one of the in-game television screens; a Golden Axe logo can also be seen during that cameo. Gilius Thunderhead makes another cameo appearance in the game, as part of a panel of judges rating the player's score. Gilius Thunderhead is also a playable character in Sega Superstars Tennis and Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed. The latter also features a racetrack inspired by Golden Axe called 'Adder's Lair'. Ax Battler and Tyris Flare are available as playable characters in the Easy Mode of the Sega Ages 2500 version of Dynamite Deka. Death Adder also makes an appearance as one of the game's bosses. Chickenleg, the pink cockatrice with the tail lash from the first game, first appeared as an enemy in Altered Beast.

Battletoads sega pc game whit emulator

Battletoads is a platformer video game created by Tim and Chris Stamper and developed by Rare as the first installment of the Battletoads series. It was originally released for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1991 and subsequently ported to numerous other platforms. In the game, two space mutant warriors known as the Battletoads, Rash and Zitz, embark on a mission to defeat the evil Dark Queen on her planet and to rescue their kidnapped friends: fellow Battletoad Pimple and Princess Angelica.
Battletoads is arguably one of the most graphically advanced video games ever released for the NES, at a time when the video game market was moving on to 16-bit consoles. The game became famous for its extreme difficulty and humorous ways of beating enemies, as during finishing attacks, the main characters' body parts transform into oversized appendages for devastating and comical attacks.
Professor T. Bird and the three Battletoads, Rash, Zitz, and Pimple, are escorting Princess Angelica to her home planet using their spacecraft, the Vulture. Pimple and Angelica decide to take a leisurely trip on Pimple's flying car. They are ambushed and captured by the Dark Queen's ship, the Gargantua. Pimple sends out a distress signal to the Vulture, alerting Professor T. Bird, Rash, and Zitz that himself and Angelica had been captured. Learning that the Gargantua is hidden beneath the surface of a nearby planet called Ragnarok's World, Professor T. Bird flies Rash and Zitz there in the Vulture to rescue them.
Between levels, the toads receive briefing comments from professor T. Bird, along with teasing from the Dark Queen. During the game's 13 levels, the Battletoads are faced with Dark Queen's minions Big Blag, Robo Manus and Major Slaughter as bosses, ultimately facing the Dark Queen herself at the top of the Dark Tower, the game's final level. Once the Queen is defeated, she claims it will not be the last they woud see from her, later turning into some sort of tornado and flying into space, 'retreating into to the shadowy margins of the galaxy to recoup her losses'. With Pimple and Princess Angelica rescued, the four are brought back into the Vulture and the game ends.
Players start with three lives each time the game is started, and get replenished every time the player continues after reaching game over. While, the levels of Battletoads vary greatly in gameplay style, the game is generally presented as 'beat-em-up' in which the players progress by defeating enemies while avoiding the hazards in the environment. The players can finish off enemies in special ways, such as punching or kicking with an enlarged fist or boot, head-butting with huge ram horns, or by transforming into a wrecking ball.
Side-scrolling stages are generally presented as having an isometric perspective, while platforming stages that feature vertical progression are presented with no depth, which allows the player characters to crouch. Several levels in the game feature sections in the form of an obstacle course, where the character rides a vehicle and must dodge a series of obstacles with speed increasing as the level progresses. Other types of level include two 'tower climb' levels, a descent to a chasm while hanging from a rope, an underwater level populated by lethal spikes and dangerous creatures, a maze chase riding a unicycle-like vehicle trying to escape from a deadly orb, a climbing/jumping 'snake maze', and a race level in which the player has to fall as quickly as possible through countless platforms to reach the bottom of a tower before an opposing rat does. Hidden in four of the levels are 'mega warp' points, which, when found, allow the player to automatically advance by two levels.

contra nes

  contra

Contra, known as Probotector and occasionally Gryzor in Europe and Oceania, is a 1987 run and gun action game developed and published by Konami originally released as a coin-operated arcade game on February 20, 1987. A home version was released for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1988, along with ports for various computer formats, including the MSX2. The home versions were localized in the PAL region as Gryzor on the various computer formats and as Probotector on the NES, released later. Several Contra sequels were produced following the original game.
In Contra, the player controls one of two armed military commandos named Bill 'Mad Dog' Rizer and Lance 'Scorpion' Bean, who are sent on a mission to neutralize a terrorist group called the Red Falcon Organization that is planning to take over the Earth. Details of the game's setting

Contra (co-op mode, 1st level)
Contra (co-op mode, 1st level)
varies between supplementary materials: the Japanese versions sets the game in the year 2633 on the fictional 'Galuga archipelago' near New Zealand, whereas the manual for the American NES version sets the game during the present in an unnamed South American island. The American storyline also changes the identity of 'Red Falcon' from being the name of a terrorist organization to the name of an alien entity.
The main character is equipped with a rifle with an unlimited amount of ammunition. The player can also jump, move and fire in eight directions, as well as move or jump simultaneously while firing. A single hit from any enemy, bullet, or other hazard will instantly kill the player character and discard the current weapon. There are over 10 areas in the game. There are two types of stages in Contra. In addition to the standard side view stages, Contra also features stages in which the player character is seen from behind and must move towards the background in order to proceed. Each of these '3D maze' stages are set inside the corridor of an enemy base in which the player must fight through the base's defenses in order to reach the core of the base. During the 3D maze stages, the upper screen will display a map of the base along with a time limit. Each maze stage is followed by a '3D fixed' stage set at the core of the base, in which the player must destroy a series of flashing sensors to expose an even larger sensor and destroy it. Contra also features a two-player cooperative mode. Both players occupy the same screen and must coordinate their actions. One player lagging behind can cause problems for his partner, as the screen will not scroll onward, and a slow player can be fatal to his partner. The European release, Gryzor, does not feature a simultaneous 2-Players mode. Instead, both players take turns: whenever one player dies, the other gets his turn.

Game controls:

The NES version of Contra was originally controlled via the NES controller with a cross-shaped joypad and two action buttons. The basic description of game controls is summarized in the table below. Detailed description of how to play this game can be found a in the attached game manual. Please note that individual gamepad buttons are emulated by different keys on your PC keyboard depending on the settings of your online emulator (see the table next to the game).

Press left and right to make the player run in either direction. Press up to aim the player's gun upward. Press down to crouch low. Press the joystick diagonally to aim your weapon in those directions.

Press the A button to make each player leap off the ground. They can jump straight up, or to either direction. Hold the control pad down while pressing jump to move your player down to a lower platform.

Press the B button to shoot your current weapon. Your weapon will fire in whatever direction the control pad is being pressed. To fire straight down, you must hold the control pad down while jumping.

Press Select on the title screen menu to select between a one or two player game.

Press Start to begin a new game or to pause the action mid-game.
